I'm just plain awful. Not only did I give poor Dov a bath, but also ... I documented his humiliation.
And now he's curled up beside me, fluffy and smelling of Pine Fresh Scent*, and all is forgiven. That's why dogs are awesome.
*Yes, they make a Pine Fresh Scented dog shampoo. I can tell you why I bought it: it was on sale. I cannot tell you why the manufacturer assumed that anyone would want to pay full-price for their dog to smell like a tree.
